Mark Steven Karras is in custody following a two week run from justice

Brooklyn Park, MN – Mark Steven Karras was located by the Twin Cities Apprehension Team and taken into custody on the 7800 block of Zane Avenue North.

Karras, who has an extensive history involving firearms and drug sales, was wanted for failing to appear for sentencing after being convicted on four counts of felony 3rd degree controlled substance sales, which carries a presumptive sentence of 72 months in state prison.

Karras went on the run, instead, and was able to avoid arrest and sentencing until TCAT ended his flight from justice at a Twin Cities apartment complex.

Karras was transported to the Hennepin County jail, where he remains in custody pending transport to Minnesota Correctional Facility, Saint Cloud, MN.
