Andrew Lee Weiland is in custody following a three day manhunt that covered Crow Wing / Cass Counties

Andrew Lee Weiland is in custody following a three day manhunt in northern Minnesota which ended in Boy River at approximately 3:30 PM on Friday, January 31, 2020. Weiland was a wanted fugitive from justice with six warrants, four of which were felony level warrants including being a predatory offender and knowingly/intentionally violating registration requirements. TCAT followed up on dozens of anonymous tips which led the arrest team to Boy River where Weiland was discovered hiding in an ice shack hear a wooded area. Weiland was apprehended without incident and transported to the Crow Wing County jail, where he is currently in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
